I think its time to upgrade my 550 and i was going to get the 660 until i spoke to my local dealer and he suggested that the nav 4 was the same but with a better cradle with useful glove friendly buttons.
Does anyone use the nav 4? HELP PLEASE

Yes but I don't think I'd buy one over the ordinary 660. A Nav IV is what now - £625 with "free" lifetime updates. You can pick up a Zumo 660 for £345 or is it £354 from here.... Get the Lifetime updates from Handtec for about £50 and the cable to connect a 660 to the GS from Nippy for....

So all in, you can probably save a couple of hundred quid over the price of a NavIV. I don't think that the hard buttons and the BMW Motorrad dealership POI database (which isn't exactly accurate) is worth that.

660

Thanks schtum, very helpful. Didn't know the 660 was that cheap, have you bought white box stuff before, always sounds a bit dodgy to me...!

Yes, I bought a nuvi 765 for my step-daughter's birthday a few months back. It was perfect.

I spent ages on the choice Nav 4 or Zumo 660 in the end went for the zumo 660 as it was far easier to set up on the bike.

The Nav 4 appears too biased to bluetooth and the new BMW supertours (K1600's)

Never looked back since getting the Zumo and far easier to get help and advise.

1200RT LC , BMW Nav 5 or Zumo 660

My old Zumo 550 works fine but there's a big empty mount waiting for something to go in it, and it's Christmas.....

£600 for the Nav5 which works on the wheel or £300 for the Zumo 660?

Is the Nav 5 worth all the extra?

I don't need to know how many times I've changed gear or any of the other extranious (?) crap. Just when to turn and when will I get there....

Thanks

Dave

Or the zumo 590LM nice upgrade from the 660 and basically the same as the nav 5 but you will need to use its own new mount and currently priced around 400 - 450
