Just mounted my car sat sat on my K1200GT

Best mount I found was actually the Navigator 11/111 and only cost £18 from motorworks with P&P.
Probably be the same for any BMW with a Navigator mount ?

Looks like a neat job, nice and secure.

For my eyesight that might be a little close to be easily read once astride the bike and holding the grips though. The need to re-focus that much closer again than the clocks. Wouldn't the Arkon case attach directly to the BMW mount without the RAM ball? Mine has a QD part on the back with the correct hole spacings. Obviously would mean that you're stuck with the angle of the BMW mount though.

Its sat perfectly for me ( being blessed with better than 20/20 vision ) not much difference to where the Street Pilot sat in the Navigator cradle TBH,and of course with this set up I can also manoeuvre the Arkon case ( unlike the street pilot in the nav cradle) I could also slot the one inch Ram ball back onto the case and use a Ram arm ( might get in the way of the dials though ? )if I want to use a tank bag.
Some one on the Euro K bikes forum has also offered me a Ram Base that will hopefully go on my clutch cover reservoir giving me another option.
But with the way I have done it, I can remove and refit it in seconds which makes it easy in places like petrol stations etc.
