Garmin BMW Nav 2 - Yellow Screen Spots

For the more knowledgable please. Tuesday was quite hot and I
inadvertantly left my GPS switched on sitting on the dash in car park. When I returned to the car later the screen was slightly different than when I left it. It has developed what looks like 2 sun spots, they are surrounded by a light grey shading.

Can anyone advise if this will go away in time or is it likely to remain ad infinitum? Otherwise it seems to work alright.

Any advice anyone can give woulf be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reply unfortunately these spots are still there after 3 days now. Look just as they were on tuesday night
