I have just managed, with the help of Garmin UK, to sort a problem for a guest. He failed to load the correct maps for his trip here in Austria and ended up with just the base map! Garmin were able to provide his account details so that we could log on here and he purchased the latest maps. Continuing their tradition of confusing names this is the 2012 version.
What was nice was to see that they now include us as a hotel on their database.
And for the cynics amongst you-no we did not pay them.
So it now even easier to find us as long as you have the latest mapping. According to our guest it cost him just under 50 pounds sterling and the download took around 2 hours.
