does anyone know if you can buy the adapters that fit onto garmin mains ac charger seperately?

all i find is the full travel kit at 35-40quid.

i got the uk, us and eu as standard with the 2610, but i wanna buy the australia one,

i cant find anywhere on the net that sells 'em, any ideas?

thanks,

dave.

Yes you can

If you buy them from the Australian distributor, GME, then their part number is AD002 and they are AU$7

Sidebar;
When you buy a mains power adapter in Europe or Australia you get a dual voltage 110/240v unit but most adapters sold in the US/Canada are 110v only.
Why is it so?

I've just enquired of GME in Australia to obtain this part, and their Street Mapping Support replied thus:

"We are a wholesaler and don't sell direct to the public. You will need to purchase through one of our dealers. If you wish to arrange one by mail you can try someone like GPS Oz in Sydney who I'm sure will be able to assist you."

My past experience with GPSOz (and GME) has been very positive, so it should be straightforward.

i just found the part number after a good internet search :)

i should have just logged onto ukgser it always comes through with the right answer :thumb:

thanks chaps :)
