Having bought my 2610 on Friday night I emailed as much information as I could to Garmin this morning and within 3 hours they had transferred the registration and provided a full breakdown of all the unlock codes for the update DVD's that came with the unit.
They also confirmed that there would be NO update from V9 to V10 so don't hold your breath. It will be simply be known as City Navigator 2008.
Great service really in my opinion. Many of the threads show people getting poor customer service, just ask politely and the information will be forthcoming.
