Ok, I've just got the TT lockable mount for the Quest and the TT power cable (not the one with audio).

Can someone please describe how to hardwire to the bike's (GS1150) battery (or wherever). The cable has the standard plug on the end which I'll cut off but I'm sure theres more to it than that.... Is there a fuse to go in there too, and if so, what type, connectors etc.

Any help appreciated!

Cheers

Just a thought- I already have a spare power socket on the handlebars, can i hardwire the Quest power cable to that? I'm assuming that the spare power socket line already has a fuse in it.

Hi,

We do similar with QPAC onto the RAM GA15 cradle. The QPAC power plug is fused with 1.5amp rating (do not exceed this rating).
