hi all, can anyone help by telling me how you do not delete your previous map of the quest,so you start to have a map families in the mapsource info ie v6,v8 etc

If you mean that you want to have both v.6 & v.8 maps on your Quest then why bother ? You're only taking up space in the units memory and the v.8 maps are obviously the latest and therefore supposedley the most up to date

But, if you want to have both loaded on your Quest then make sure you've selected maps from both versions (see the drop down box, top left in MapSource on your computer). Download them both to your Quest and you're done.
