Garmin Quest Track Setup

On the 'Track Setup' page, 'Track Recording' option, my unit always defaults to disabled, regardless of whether I select enabled.
Despite this, tracks always seem to be recorded. Am I missing the point somewhere?

Can a track be saved as a route for future use?

Just realised my own mistake. The track option is only enabled when the unit has aquired satelites
