installed Road Trip on my macbook this afternoon, seems very different from mapsource, but seems to do everything i need, so that's another step closer to ditching windows 
i do have a couple of questions however...
where is the file My Collection? and more importantly, where are the maps stored once installed? do they run straight from the conversions i made on my windows machine? i guess they must, but renaming the file hasn't fazed it, it still works
