Got a street pilot 2620 I'm not needing anymore ( cos it don't like my bike!!), got all the toys to go with it ram mount, car bag base, carry case, remote control, sticky pad, cable to 12v supply with speaker...
What does the fraternity feel - break it up or sell as a complete set???

what money are you looking for as not the newest on the block, it being the lesser model with the 2820 being the one to have. And the tom tom rider and garmin zumo all over ebay. Also what maps are included Europe or just UK.

Regards Dave

Might not be the newest but the it's still one of the best, I have just had mine repaired rather than buying another. And with openstreetmap available for free maps are not a problem, you can have up to date maps as often as you like.

He could well be right though. If, as the OP says, it "doesn't like his bike", it's probably one of the early 2620s with a micro-drive HD rather than solid-state memory and as such not much good as a motorcycle GPS unit.

...aye i think thats the craic - a lot of people have told me that in the past when i first got it. It works great in the car, most of time on the GSA too.
Weird set up eh?
Nice bits come withit though

I'll check out the maps on it then pop it onto the FS&W as instructed...

still didntget any feedback on wether to split the pack or not... :D

Note to self- read the post properly before replying! I misread it as referring to a 2610 which of course does not have the fragile disc drive mentioned.

My comments about using opensteetmap still apply though

Thank you for your indulgence

John
