'bout £289, have a read of this thread.

Buy yourself a 2gb and you can have its basemap, the whole of worldmap outside Europe, and the whole of City Navigator Europe on it with room to spare....................

Never load a mapset again................... :)

'til the next version of City Navigator...........................

Sort of an end of an era, in a way - the 26xx series was the very first of the compact automotive GPSRs to have the form factor that has continued through the 27xx and 28xx product line. It was also the last of the high-end automotive GPSRs to have an engineering-driven user interface, rather than a simplified user interface.

I'll miss it. I'm still hanging on to my 2650 (a 2610 with dead-reckoning capabilities) - it's a great GPSR. No traffic reports, no speed cameras... but, hey, those headaches didn't exist 4 years ago when the 26xx series first came out!
