G'day and My New Bike

Picked up my new GS this morning. Traded a year old K1200GT for it. Got a black one with TT footpegs, wunderlich beak extender, cylinder head protectors and crash bars. Tank bars are on their way from HB. Took the day off work and did a 340km break in run. Fantastic! I've got 3 months to get myself ready for the Australian BMW offroad safari next Mar. 6 days and 120 bikes (with support vehicle) exploring our snowy mountains area. Can't wait!

Thanks for all the good info on the site. I was about to post some pictures but my account says I am not allowed to post attachments! If that changes or there is another way to show some pictures of my bike I'l put them up.

if you host your pics on a photo site like photobucket... you can then insert them on here... but you need to sponsor the site to just attach a pic.... if you can understand what i'm trying to say

Don't rub it in about the safari....my invite is sitting in the bedside drawer but the dates clash with residential school at the uni. Welcome to the site though.
