Has anyone in the forum had problems with the gear indicator switch in the gearbox by any chance, my 3k miles R1200 is showing 2nd when i'm in neutral, shows nothing in 1st, flashes a 3 when going into 3rd but then disappears leaving the lcd display blank but seems to correctly indicate 4th,5th and 6th.
It's a new problem and only became apparent as the tank went to countdown when returning home today, i've tried switching off and letting the electrics go through std start up procedure etc several times, all to no avail.
Merely curious as to whether i'm just unlucky or if this is a common fault.
