I am struglling to get my toe under gear lever when i have my motox boots on, its a Dakar 650 . Ankles arent as flexible as it used to be ..
Is there another option... ??????

I had the same problem when I did the off-road course. I was told to use the upper lip of the off-road boots to change up a gear. IIRC the boot sole was about half a centimetre bigger than the upper. Hope that makes sense. Obviously changing down isn't a problem. :thumb2

Using the lip on the sole of the boot is the method I use as well, but it is possible to loosen the gear lever where it attaches to the spline and rotate it to give yourself more room.

use your heel...................

of course I don't have a choice (the clue is in my name) :augie

Rotate it on the splines as necessary
By just moving it one notch on the spline you may find this a tad high (for when you're not wearing motocross boots)
The Touratech lever moves the thing about half a notch on the spline. I found it a good compromise, easy to get my off-road boots under, and still usable in normal boots.
