Got my 30k miler arriving Saturday, thought that if it was going to break it would have by then, 'cept when I rang my local ex-BMW service Tech to book the bike in for a service he told me a tale of two 1200GS he knows of which suffered gearbox failure at 34K and 38K. Both now waiting second hand boxes to become available.
I'd be grateful to know how common/pitifully expensive is this?
