The standard gearing on the XChallenge is 15/47. If I change it to 14/49 what effect will it have on the speedo reading and by how much?
The speedo reads from the rear.

Ah, sussed it. The rear sprocket change has no effect so I guess it will just over-read a bit cos I've gone down one on the front..?

Thanks John.
I was being a bit vague, or blond, or both with that first post. I was concerned about speedo error rather than speed range. But since the bike detects speed from a slotted ring on the rear wheel, it won't have any effect on error on matter what sprockets I use:blast
