Looking for a generator, that will power a couple of worklights, and either an orbital sander or a pressure washer (not at the same time)

What size do I need and are there any good deals about, i'd prefer a quality marq but if a cheap chinese copy will do the job and its cheap enough I may go in that direction.

Any bargains about??

Some of my friends live in remote ares without mains electricity.

After 25 years of trying everything from, big old Listers to solar, hydro and wind power they have finally settled on the cheap 'suitcase' generators which often have a years warranty.
They've found this to be the cheapest and even the most reliable way to go.
Sorry but i don't know the makes offhand.

Bought my new one from B & Q.
It is a frame type with the long run fuel tank, 2.6Kva.
£118 on a 10% off day :thumb

My previous one was one of These that I bought from a local tooling place.

Cost me over £300 and it gave up the ghost

Figured it would cost more than the £118 to have it repaired as it was the generator itself that was away not the engine so just bought a new one.
