Some on here will know George. He passed away prematurely at the weekend.
He was a legend in this area for years, for the length of time he's been on bikes, his skill (both on and off road) but mostly for the craic he brought to any gathering.
George was a member of this site at one time, though not recently active, as he didn't have a GS for a while.
Somebody else might remember his user name. I don't.

The death has occurred of George STAPLETON of Rockbrook Lawn, Mallow, Cork
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 8th December, at Cork University Hospital.
Reposing at O'Connell's Funeral Home, Mallow on Tuesday from 7.30pm with removal at 8.30pm to The Church of The Resurrection.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in St Gobnait's Cemetery.
