This was mentioned in the Sunday Times travel magazine as worth doing. It stretches from Lindau to Bertechsgaden. I hadn't heard of it before, and having googled it, seems a worthwhile ride. Has anyone on here done it, and is able to cofirm the favourable comments I've seen?

Great road in South Tyrol, did it again last year

Very scenic with some fast stretches and with 100mph+ bends which you can take in top gear .............perhaps 130mph on a sportsbike.............a friend on a R1200S smoked my 1150GSA

whats the number of the road

The article didn't give the road number, but google it for the route.

That whole area is well worth a visit. Make sure you go to Berchestgardenand the Konnigs Sea. Whilst there take a trip to Hitlers holiday home the Eagles nest which is there, marvelous area.

Also close by is Bad Durnburg(spelling!) which has the longest Sommer Roddelbarn in Germany. This is a bobslieght track where you go up an a ski lift and come down in your own bobsliegh on wheels. Its 2.5Km long and the best fun I've had in ages. The salt mines there are well worth a visit to. I took my son 2 years back and we had a fantastic time.
