Germin V or SPIII ?

Looking to buy a Germin V, is it worth spending another £300 for the SPIII?, can pick up the V for £199.95.
Is the Ram mount ok will it stop the unit locking out, whats the power supply like ,on internal batteries.

Depends on how far you want to go

IMHO the V is a better all round unit, but the 19Mb memory is VERY limiting unless you carry a laptop with you all the time to upload as you go.

I bought the V and I still don't know the answer!! I think the V is exceptional value for £200, and if the III was available for £400 I would probably have gone for that, but I don't think it's worth the extra £300 IMHO.
