Gunna pull the bike out. I was considering, Pulling off both coil sticks then turning the engine over to get the oil flowing round before putting the coils back on and firing it up. Not been started since October.
So, Not sure it really needs it ?
Just press the starter and run it ......:nenau

Thats all i do, used to start my bikes a few times over winter, many years ago, and then realised it wasn't doing them any good when a white foam developed on the sight glass. I also cant see the dealers starting up bikes that sit in showrooms for months on end so i'm sure its fine.

I've never started the bikes up over winter. Always remember Steptoe telling us all how bad it is due to condensation. So Even my 1999 1150 wasn't started. I agree, Just fire it up ........

That's what i do with my r9t which stands for a lot of the winter, just start it and let it tick over for a minute before touching the throttle.
