The stock riding position is very upright. With your risers, they seem to have pulled the bars further towards the back of the bike. Surely your back is leaning backwards now when riding the bike?
Seems like a very weird position. Do you have very short arms? I don't have particularly long arms, and have my bars tilted away from me.
Would be interesting to see a pic of your side profile when riding the bike with that handlebar position.

The stock bars on the GSA feels like you are leaning foreward,a bit like a sports bike postion.I've had three gsa aircooled and never even thought about risers,but the new one felt that I was leaning towards the bike a touch.
With risers it feels like the aircooled one comfortable
