I know this might sound vague, but can anyone suggest a good twisty route from the end of the Black Forest (wherever that "ends") to the start of the Dolomites. I seem to recall from previous trips getting stuck in the Bregenz areagetting to the Timmeljocj Pass. We'd ideally like to avoid built up and can go via Switzerland if that creates a good option
Thanks

Try this route, Mapsourse V9. Did it last year from Baden Baden to Stanzach. from Stanzach go back to Elmen and take the Hahntenjoch pass to Imst :bounce1:bounce1:bounce1. The only down side was we followed the lake road and it was very busy, fecking tourists, and quite slow but lovely views and lunch. I have hard copies I can email ewe if ewe don't have V9 We went through Bregenz with no probs that I can recall, and there wasn't any other choice really as we were headed for the Lech Valley which is a must do! HTH's :thumb2
PS excuse my waypoint names, a little joke within our group.
