Just fitted some nice blingy Gilles brake and gear pedals.
Beautifully made and easy to fit. I thought I would check their 'settings', just to make sure the gears still select etc.
Went to put it in first and instead of the usual 'clunk' I was greated with a nice quiet 'click' .
Back to neutral , try again, 'click'.
Where's my clunk gone?!?
My TB is a few months old, but I have been lucky, it seems, in that my gearbox has always been sweet apart from the clunk into first.
Maybe now that the slop has been removed from the gear lever it's all lining up properly?

cheapskate you havnt got the matching foot pegs

Ha, ha, yes, those posh BMW/Gilles ones do look nice. I only ride in sports type boots though, so I am not sure the extra footpegs width will suit me.

ive got the gilles levers and pegs which are great also they have 3 height settings as well, dont be a skinflint :P i never worked out what the other hole is for, reverse shift?

I've already got the HP levers, so I suppose I'd better get these, and the foot pegs to complete the set!:D

Lookin' good Fatnfast:thumb
The gearshift is really much better as you say........Just need the pegs to match now:beerjug:

I ride with regular street boots too and have the BMW Enduro pegs and they are MUCH better for vibration plus when you stand on the pegs.

Those are adjustment positions. The front threaded hole allows for a shorter lever throw and, accordingly a bit harder. The back increases leverage for a longer throw and softer as well.

What advantages are you guy's finding with the Gilles brake and gear pedals over
Stock?. I have the Gilles foot rests already and find them to be an improvement in terms of comfort/adjustments, and now thinking of getting the brake and gear pedals too.

You'll have a 3 week wait, as nobody has stock in the uk. This lot have convinced me to buy them, but I'm going to have to wait.:blast
