Are the NN winglets better than the standard GSA ones?
I seem to be the only person that didn't get on with the AF330. I'm 6ft, and like most people, found the standard screen was naff. I bought an AF330 as it seemed the ideal screen. However, with the second screen attached, it felt like a vortex was being created on top of my helmet at anything over 60mph. The vortex (if that's what it was) would cause severe buffeting on my helmet (I tried other helmets too), no matter what position the screen was in. I ended up removing the second screen, and using some "home made" torbinators to angle the base screen back a bit before I was comfortable. But even this isn't perfect. The dreadful turbulence has gone now, but I still find there being way too much wind at 70. Currently looking for a different screen.
Ideally I'd like a screen like on the Multistrada. I can cruse quite comfortably on that at 70+. Although I notice that the Multistada's screen sits fairly close to the rider, and so less chance of turbulence being generated maybe?
What angle do you have the screen set at. Too upright and you do get buffeting. I had mine angled as far back as it could go...6ft tall and by far the best set up I have ever had including the RT.
I tried almost every combination, including angled fully way back. Then I added my tobinators which lifted the screen and angle it further back.
Do you use the second sliding screen? And if so, what position? No matter what I tried, the second screen always caused some weird vortex that would either pull my helmet upwards, or cause it, and my head, to move around excessively. I actually thought it had to be the helmet, but trying friends helmets did not help. If I ducked down slightly, the vortex would go away. I think some more playing around is required, although it's not clear what else I can try, apart from trying a different make.
Or as Bendy toy mentions, maybe trying a screen extender may be the first thing to try before ditching the 330. I'll have a think about it over Christmas.
I had the upper screen set about 2/3 way up for a really quiet ride and all the way down in the summer as just too hot....always with the visor open and no buffeting....truely mystified that it doesn't work for you.....and I was using a Tour X3! Your are the same height as me....are you some weird shape...2ft long legs and a 4ft body?

I'm 6'6" and a screen off dreamscreenuk on ebay and an MRA X-Creen do the trick, but look weird. Visor up a 70mph no problem, seat in high position.
