The hand guards are a bit too small for me, although the heated grips work OK I felt a lot of heat was being blown away. After seeing a Bike in Barry Robsons fitted with Givi hand guards I decided to try a set. I purchased them from Nippy Normans and they arrived in four days. Fitting was very simple, unbolt the old guards, fit them over the Givi guards and re assemble using a few spacers and a longer set of bolts, 10 minutes.
The results are great, my hands are warmer, its been 6C today and the low heat was sufficient. I have not noticed any extra turbulence or noise except a bit more wind on my upper arms.

I like that you don't have to drill through the original handguards, shame Touratech and Wunderlich didn't design theirs to fit under the stock mountings, like these.:blast:rolleyes:

Ive fitted a set and they improve protection and the air is pushed to upper forearm area, summer gloves were ok at just double figures temp without heated grips..

agree I think clear coz they are huge,, but they seem to vanish a bit when glancing at bike..
