Givi Monolock

My new givi monolock 46L topbox arrived today.

Has anyone out there fitted one to an ADV12 rack, the mounting plates that fit the rack on the baseplate just dont seem to fit right.

If my head didnt feel like it was full of cotton wool from my cold im sure the answer would be obvious, but it does feel like that and it isnt obvious

Im sure people here have fitted one, but was anyone stupid enough to take a pic or 2 of how you mounted it on the rack

Hi Matt,

Fitted a new V46 to my GS yesterday. The rack (steps up at the back) that was on the GS had to be removed first. All the components fitted when loose (finger tight) except for the Givi base plate. I had to drill a hole in each of the angled side plates onto which the Givi base plate in fixed. Once these two holes where drilled (in the correct place) all the components were tighten up gradually & eveything seems OK.

Not that good with the camera & posting piccies, but if you stall have problems get back to me & I'll see what I can do.
