Givi Panniers

Hello Everryone

I have bought some Givi panniers, frame and rack from a mate for my wife's G650GS (2012).
We have all the parts needed - except we could not get out the pannier frame bolt fixing fittings which go inside the rear footrests

Q. Has anyone removed them from their bike before and how did you do it?

OR

Q. Does anybody know where I will be able to get replacements without having to buy whole set of fixings?
i.e. does anyone know a specific helpful Givi retailer who could get these for me?
(I have already done the obvious - trawled Google with part numbers and emailed Givi direct)

All help/advice gratefully received.

I need to fit some second hand givi pannier racks to my G650 so let me know if you ever find out

I just fitted mine and what I did was to insert the two parts into the foot peg BUT I put a small piece on insulating tape on the nut piece which goes inside the large cylinder so the nut doesn't push through

I also found that I had to connect the foot peg part piece first and then the other two parts.

It was also necessary for me to enlarge the hole on both the footpeg connection and the top part of the frame. Wasn't happy at all with the top frame connection as I managed to damage my bodywork. I also added some sticky velcro underneath to try and protect the paintwork.

Givi stuff usually just drops into place so I was extremely disappointed with the fitting of the pannier racks.
