Anyone used one, if so, what do you think?

I previously used the Puig and it was great - no clamps, so could be raised/lowered on the move - up to about 50mph. On mine the single sided Givi doesn't slide well, twists the screen mounts and requires a helping hand when raising or lowering.

Anyone else experience the same?

Yup - but then the Cymarc one is no better.
In fact its worse as it drags both sides! Only benefit is that it stops any twisting with a single sided support.
Someone needs to do one with a roller/bearing in it and it'll be perfect.

I've ordered a Puig replacement as it uses bushings that can be lubed and doesn't require clamping.

I have the Givi support and it works fine and when loosened does not impede normal adjustment of the screen. However, I do remember having an alignment problem when I first fitted it as per my (possibly imperfect) understanding of the instructions. Can't remember exactly how I fixed it, but I think it was by moving the position of a spacer/washer. It then now longer agreed with the instructions, but worked much better!

I just use the cymarc one,s clamped solid on both sides, never worry about moving screen up or down, just set it at beginning of the ride, hot down, rain up, job done.

I have the givi screen with additional support and have never really had to adjust it as its out of my eyeline when riding but provides excellent protection from buffeting.
