anyone know where i can get a givi screen for a 1100gs?, can`t seem to find anywhere. i am getting severe head aches after any decent amount of miles in the saddle and frankly if i can`t sort it the bike will have to go.

Can't help with the Givi, but re the problem - if all else fails, cut down your existing screen in about 2" slices till you get to the bareable point where the buffeting stops. You may end up with your helmet in the breeze ( ) but that will be far better than the "smacked with a baseball bat" feeling.

allready thought about that but somebody has cut NACA ducts into it so thats put that option out the window.:(

Givi

Hi
I obtained my screen a Givi allbeit for an 1150 at a reasonable price from Bahnstormer 01420 587007 New dealer on SPC.s premises parts guy extremely helpful Darren I believe
Frank

can`t post pics but find a pic of an ferrari f40 and you`ll find 2 on the bonnet.

Oh right. I was thrown by "knackker ducts".

NACA Duct tape the solution then?
needed some of them on the 996, talk about boil in the bag. i think i'm gonna remove the screen before my next journey and see how it goes. i tryed bahnstormer :thumb2 , and indeed darren was very helpfull but its not very cheap for something that may not cure my head aches.

Tried some Tobinators?

tobinators, eeeerrrrrrmmm, that would be like givin an ugly bird a few extra warts. fussy fecker aint i.

Having tried big screen, little screen with no success and finding my shoulders aching like mad and starting to avoid using the bike altogether if it was windy because it felt so dangerous, I finally junked the screen altogether......................... bloody brilliant, suddenly it's a great machine. Hilarious to throw around now, never feels like I'm having to hang on even at a decent motorway lick, and I can live with a bit of rain on my visor.

thats ok but the 1100 is soooooooo ugly without the screen. been reading some old posts on tobinators, andy hird done a nice job with the adv screen, could almost be factory finish, but the cost is way to much, think its time i tried to find a swop for an r1100rt.
