I'm picking up my 790 Adventure next Saturday and have a trip to Scotland in 5 weeks for which I need my 58litre Givi topbox fitted.

Givi don't list anything for the new 790 Adv, only the 790 Duke. My local Givi dealer doesn't know when they will list stuff so I'm wondering whether anyone else has adapted a plate to go with the Givi box.

I really don't want to spend out for a Powerparts plate and matching topbox as I have a perfectly good Givi one which I'm keen to keep. Worse case scenario is my large waterproof roll bag bungee'd to the rear seat or existing rack. Until I get the topbox fitted the wife won't come on it as she needs the support of that against her back.

How quick are Givi likely to react?

Did that. Got a reply saying their R&D Dept update the website weekly with new products but not holding out much hope of getting it within the next 4 weeks before my Scotland trip. I'll take the bike to the dealers to see if they can modify a similar one to accept the Givi plate I already have.

The OE base plate looks very much like the 1050 plate to me

Can you confirm your plate looks like this ?

The KTM Part No for this plate is 60612010000

It'll be stamped on the underside of the plate

I fitted the one listed for the 1050 / 1090 / 1190 :thumb

I have the same Givi plate as I've just took it off my 1190 that's been sold on with the original bread bin topbox. I won't be picking up the new 790 until next week so will hopefully be able to fit mine onto it. Did you have to drill any new holes on your 790 or did it just bolt straight on?
