I'm interested in buying a set of Trax panniers off a fellow GSer but am unsure now whether I can combine the Evo pannier system with the latter-style Givi top box carrier - I'm really anxious to keep this. Does anyone know if it can be done? I think it all boils down to the spacers between the subfame and the securing bracket that runs between the two bolts - and how flush the carrier remains around the top securing bracket.
I went to see a local supplier of Givi and Trax luggage and it's not clear from studying the microfiche of both units whether it'll work, the supplier was unsure too. Given that the panniers I am interested in are up north and I'm down south I need to reassure myself that it'll work before wasting both the seller's and my time.
