I have had my Tiger 955i for two years which i really enjoy riding so couldn't wait till the new Explorer came out.
In June last year I had a test ride ( thanks Dave at Denhams ) on a 1200 GS and didn't want to hand it back.
A couple of months later I test rode an Explorer, couldn't wait to hand it back, don't get me wrong, it is a very capable bike, just didn't wow me.
That was it, I knew what had to be done. After months of searching, I found it, a 10 plate 30 year anniversary 1200 GS which I bought in November.
Since then I have ridden every other weekend ( I work alternate w/ends ) on my new steed
Wish I'd bought one years ago. My poor Tiger has been relegated though.
If u come across someone with a permanent grin, riding a GS ...... It's probably me.
