GO PRO 8 Dead as a DODO help please

Go Pro 8 died during use on my cycle today and for no reason. Now won't start either after charging or on the charger without the battery / SD card.
Not much on the web suggesting other than get it fixed but is it worth it?
Any possible restarts or something to help (not chuck in the bin lol)
