Well you got a point it's the camera I'm looking at. It it's proper resolution 1280x720 (HD lite but loads better than 640x480) other camera's who claim to be able to turn lead into gold and seems to be able to switch frame rates as well cos it'll be more arty stuff...
I'm waiting for a demo unit as I've said we break these types of cameras everyday and this one seems very good.
the jury is out till I've smashed one to bits....
will let you know, the biggest snag will be lighting conditions in Britain plus hours and hours of POV (point of view) does make an interesting film....

I got the GOPro Hero Wide - and yes it does do nice movies, but, as there is a big but which annoys me; there are no indicators on the back which will show if it's on and/or recording, except for a very small diode in the view finder which is very difficult to see.
The on/off is on the front, which in my view isn't the best place to put it....
It have to be said that I have it mounted on a RAM mount in front of my left wing mirror which does not make matters better.
Also they left out any sanity which could show how much is recorded on a sd-card, etc, etc, cheap but due to the cumbersome usage mine is sitting on a shelve.
