Guys - yes I`m very very sure you all take care anyway but I am sharing this with you from a `consequential cost` angle through simply `not thinking` (I am not renowned for my Einstien-Like mental abilities
).
But anyway, I was in Snowdonia on my beloved GSA on Monday and the wind was horrendous. We were trekking up to the top of a feature and we parked to take an image and all of a sudden the wind gusted and took a fully laden yet muchly beloved GSA and rammed it into a post.
Although there was very little obvious damage the repair bill came to £391
for a screen, the brackets (£34!), the upper screen bar and a rear view mirror.
So, please learn by my mistake and don`t get caught off guard and end up with a big bill for expensive parts!
Regards to all,
Mark
