Go Tamsin!

Many on here who have done one or more of the BMW Offroad Skills courses will have met Tamsin Jones.

For those who may have missed it: today, Tamsin became only the second British woman to finish the Dakar! A fantastic double marathon achievement: first, getting the funding, entry, and bike together; and second, the small matter of actually finishing this monster of an event.

Tamsin, you truly rock girl.

Never been on the course and probably never will, but well done Tamsin - the unofficial UKGSer entry.
Finishing the Dakar at all is a great result - one denied to many, sadly.

Never had the pleasure of doing any of the off-roading training or meeting Tamsin but I'm an avid Dakar fan and followed it every km of the way. Huge congratulations for finishing it. There were some really tough stages this year that took massive chunks out of the field.

Having been on the Level 1 course have seen (but, unfortunately, been tutored by) Tamsin riding and was gobsmacked by her skills then. Followed the Dakar this year (as I do every year) and was so pleased she finished. Awesome! Well done and congratulations.
