Gone bust Heine Gericke still have my jacket

Because non-subscribers CAN see the B&B but CAN'T see the For Sale section.

:)

OK but BHT moved it from the B&B to this one so the OP could see it - see the other thread. However, I'm going back in my box now - I was only trying to help in the first place. You buggers keep moving things around don't you?:D

BHT moved it again to what he considers a better place. But the OP could always see it (if he looked around and followed the redirect that was left in the Toilet section).

I'm going for a lie down too!

:D

If you have the money buy a Rukka, mine is 5 years old and done about 80,000 miles, never had a leak anywhere yet !!

Beemerman,
Why don't you go out to your shed and polish your bike, it will take your mind off my mis-posting, and while you are there try imagine how you would feel if someone walked of with your biking outfit tomorrow morning and you couldn't do a thing about it while you watched it happening.

My apologies for the mis-posting

Huh? And there's me trying to help you out because I didn't think you could see the replies that you were getting :blast My mistake - I won't do it again.

Yes, I'm looking at Rukka and Klim right now, sad thing is my HG didn't leak, it had just ragged up a bit on the right shoulder and when I rang the shop they asked me take it in to get it checked...no problem it's fully guaranteed!

The Rukka seems to be a cracking jacket.

There is an RST adventure jacket in the for sale section. Handy as a stop gap, but might be almost as good.

Thanks Bendy, but I could do with being able to zip my HG pants to the jacket and I doubt if they will be compatible, there are some second hand HG jackets on ebay that might be a better stop gap for now.

Sorry Beemerman, I didn't realise you were the hero, my mistake, please accept my sincere apologies!

Unfortunately, the OP is a non-subscriber, so the avenue of a (possibly) cheap alternative jacket to be found in the FSW section is a non-starter.

It is easy and quite cheap to get an alternative zip sown into any jacket or trousers. I had it done to zip a textile jacket to my leather trousers.

It seems I wasn't totally right as only some non-subscribers can see the B&B so Beemerman should feel fully vindicated, not to mention refreshed after his lie-down.

Get a Rukka ArmourS, Not a drop of rain in, outer shell is waterproof so doesn't get soggy at all.
The zip is a very small job to sort out.

Cheers Bengaz,
Hopefully some good news, today I was officially informed from the administrators that J+S have bought whats left of HG, I have spoken to someone from J+S who is prepared to go and have a look for my jacket in the shop and will be in contact with me later on.
Fingers crossed and thanks to everyone, it was information gained from this forum that lead me to search in the right direction.
Thanks again!
