Time to move on as they say, the GS has now been sold replaced with a TEx .....and i love it:D
Happy & safe riding

Watch out very soon in the for sale section..top box (with carrier), Panniers x2, new std. screen, unused hand protectors (taken off at PDI), unused sump bash plate (taken off at PDI), GRP stainless can 10 month old & lees than 1,00mls through it, Remus decatted headers (same as Can), unopened modified screen fitting kit, never used front wheel tool. genuine BMW workshop DVD, genuine (can prove) GS911 diag tool...:thumb

Same here kremmen.last trip on GSA this weekend.so many things I like about the bike but it's flawed in other ways.obviously they've gone as far as they can with the air cooled boxer and it shows with the twin cam.triumph triple is so much stronger.will miss the ESA like!

My last 1200 ( an 09 SE) was a great bike... still is hopefully for its new owner...

Often wondered what a GS would be like if you shoe horned a K12S engine in there..... and that sums up the Explorer ....

Not saying I'll not end up with another GS though... best to hedge your bets :augie

Don't quite understand the purpose of threads like this  Can somebody please explain :nenau

I'd have thought this would have been better in a different section... Perhaps the triumph one ;)

They're speaking their thoughts aloud, it’s a symptom of Schizophrenia, there's a lot of it about here :D
