Probably due to the fact that I am too stupid to understand how turn off every single bloody piece of firewall and anti-virus software on my laptop, I am unable to connect to Garmin Services to update my modern SatNav using Garmin Express. So I tried "Webupdater" and managed to turn my unit into a doorstop - wouldn't even turn on.
A quick call to Garmin and new unit was on its way, arriving a week after the old one was sent to them.
I am very pleased with Garmin support. Others will try to reassure me that TomTom support is at the same level or that they never malfunction.
