No, I'm still riding on the roads, making them utterly unsafe, but the French government has decided to make speeding less of an issue...

only saw one speed trap in over 1000 miles of french roads, and the oncoming motorists flashed and waved so much we'd had to have been blind not to be aware....... mind you it was a couple of pretty police ladeez.................;)

Not good news for us living down here in the Languedoc though. The clamp down was actually having an effect and slowing down some of the maniacs. We didn't have a problem with bikers at all but we did have car drivers going through the village at well over 100kph. Now it will go back to that. Spineless politicians!

Thanks Mike,
You are the top man for French Biking info which really helps us,
I will be going down to the South West, on the 4th July with the radars marked on my route..
(one day we will have to get over to Normandy so we can meet up, but can't do it this time.)
cheers,
Barrie.
