just seem a 2011 gsa fully loaded 25000mls , asking £8000 .is this a fair price

Compare with other similar 'fully loaded' GSA bikes of the same vintage, condition and mileage ... And haggle, if you feel like it.

Your quest seems to have been going on for over a year. You'll have got a feel for prices by now, I'm sure.

Here's a starter for you: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/bikes...lYWdlLDAuMCw1MDAwMC4wKSxSTihBZ2UsMC4wLDUuMCkp

Are you looking at the one in Williams?

Compare with others, as detailed above. Do you think the price fair? Yes? Great, mate. Buy it. Job done. No? Carry on....

It is worth what you prepared to pay for it. If the bike meets your expectations of what a 2nd hand bike should look like then it is down to the service history, hpi etc. Haggle a bit if you must and buy the thing. On a such a motor the mileage is irrelevant, the care of ownership and condition is more important. If it comes with a few goodies then it is a bargain seeing what you nowadays pay for accessories.

Looks lovely and clean. If the Eur/Stg wasn't so bad I'd be interested in that myself!!!

yes its in williams >they dont seems to like to give test rides on used bike though

well went up to williams and managed to get a test ride ,liked it, still different to what i was used to but liked the riding position cruised at eighty ok and did not feel the need to blast around at highly illegal speeds .
so have done the deal and will be picking it up next week .

So as long as it looked good, don't worry about the more important inner bits? My bike has some corrosion and it cant be helped. One fork lower has strated peeling, the other hasn't. So it cannot be neglect as I wash both sides of the bike...Always serviced on time and repaire, even with pre emptive tasks, before any signs of necessity. I'd be inclined to consider all things-not just the "mint looking ones"....

Don't know how many miles you have done or how and where you ride but expectations of a 2nd hand bike is individual. I sold my Hexhead with 24k on it and it was mint, serviced on time and the final drive oil changed more regularly than recommended, brakes cleaned every so often and new brake fluid after winter. It wanted for nothing. So if I was in the market for a bike then I expect the same. The engines are good so service history is important as is the condition of the bike compared to the asking price. A 5k bike will be much different to a 10k bike. I don't disagree with you.
