My GSA had a little lie-down in the snow last week. The only damage was to the left hand indicator flappy paddle thing, which must have got caught on the tank bag. Called the BMW main dealer to be told they don't supply this part, and I'd need to buy new switch gear at £168 plus fitting:eek:

Call Motor Works to see if they had used switch gear, which they did, but offered to supply me just the flappy paddle thing itself, which they did. So for the princely sum of £7 posted and 5 minutes in the garage I'm all working again:thumb2

Tops in my book too.

You can phone and order a part and if it is in stock, go and pick it up as well.

Always happy to give tips on fitting parts when you collect them too.

Would and do recommend to anyone who listens.

I realize I'm going back a few years around 1998 ish in his early days .
I got knocked off my R100RS I needed some faring bits and the spider at the front was bent.
He actually sent me the spider around £30 from memory along with the fairing bits and said if I could use his as a pattern to straighten mine then do so & send his back for a refund.

Now I call that a step further than the norm I kept his by the way.

I suppose thats why he's successfull but wouldn't expect with how busy he is now for that happen
