Goodwood Breakfast Club

I'm thinking of going as well - depends on how much I have to drink on Saturday and whether I can drag myself out of bed!

Hmmmm - exactly the same problems I have :P

Rough estimate would be 1 1/2 to 2 hour ride so to get there around 9.00 means leaving at 7.00!!! But going to be a cracker of a day.

Zoooom

Anyone from the Cambs area going to the above? A quick check shows only 140 miles - SWMBO is away in Peru doing a trek for the NDCS so I have a 10 day pass! ;)

Hi Zoom Boxer,
I might be up for it -do you need tickets or anything in advance ?
I'm in Cambridge too, -guess I can watch the Grand Prix in the evening instead !
What time are you planning on leaving :D :D

No tickets, just turn up.

All "German" marques will be directed to the paddock area.

Arrive late, and this could be full, and you will be sent to the regular car park.

Pulled out from the Goodwood site:

The Breakfast Club is open from 08:30 to 12 noon on the first Sunday of every month, from 4 March through to 7 October 2007 (except September). Each Sunday is themed, with the right cars parked in the Paddock area and on the track, located at the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit. - others will be directed to public car parks.

Would be nice to get there around 9.00 ish

I do not have Sat-Nav, GPS, or anything like that so not sure of best and quickest way there - but I reckon 2 hours would be good.

7.00 start?

Hi ZoomBox,
no, I dont have GPS or Sat Nav :( ...best route to my mind is down to Royston, Baldock, A1M, then cut across to M25 after Hatfield tunnel, round M25, and take it from there ....rough plan anyhow :D
So, would you want to meet up and travel down- whereabouts in Cambridge are you - I live right in the middle, so anywhere Central or South of City good for me.

Drop me an email....

[email protected],

and we can take it from there- by the way, I'm not a mad fast rider, but like to get a move on on a nice day !!

E-mail dropped ;)

Not mad either but if conditions are suitable then ...:)

Route sounds good - will plan it properly once past the M25.
