Google Earth 3 ways of starting it help please

Having downloaded Google Earth on to the new computer it has given me three shortcuts,
A, in open GL mode
B, in Direct X mode
C, an one that just seems to open it anyway.
I'll be using it with my satnav once I get going.
Thanks for any advise.

Garry,
I think the other versions are for if it doesn't run or causes problems with windows 8 and 8.1.

Google it and someone with more brain cells than me will explain.
