I don't have a problem exporting from MapSource to Google Earth but can't seem to do the reverse.

I've got lots of places of interest stored in GE as placemarks and would like to load them onto MS.

That way, wherever I ride, I can see what is either near where I am or on my route and pick them up on the way through.

Any pointers greatfully received :thumb2

Save only the way-points from Google Earth, right click their container and select 'save as'. Save them as a KMZ file. You can then open this in Basecamp and then export as GDB or GPX which can be opened in Mapsource.

Development of Mapsource has now ceased, Basecamp is the new route plotting software from Garmin. Personally I still prefer Mapsource but Basecamp will get the new features, I'm learning to embrace both applications for their various strengths.
