My little used GOPro HD hero refuses to switch on 
The camera charges as per normal - red led goes out after several hours but I cannot power up the camera and only after removing and reinserting the battery can I get the camera charging again.
Dredging the net and gopro forums it seems this is not an uncommon problem.
GoPro support is trying to help. Their initial response was prompt but nothing more than what I had already found on the net.
I will keep you up to date on the resolution as this might be an issue worth considering in choosing a camera.
