Gopro mount

Just seen a Gopro mount for a 2012 on Nippy Normans. £75 seems awful expensive for a screen mount! Has anyone found anything similar?

I fitted one of them, but had to use a long curved bracket in order for the gopro to clear the bodywork

I fitted mine on a RAM mount facing through the screen which means you can stop and start filming from the saddle, total cost 30.00-ish.

Not a chance would I pay that for a mount! Not even if I was on drugs! Looks like I will have to make one. Did look at the side mount ones but I'm not keen on them at all.

Have a look through Amazon and eBay as there are tons of mounts on them. I got a case of different ones for £12 on Amazon. I am sure you will find something on one of them that will be close enough for you to make it work.

I put a stick on go pro mount on the beak, works Ok, probably as good as the screen one will.

Have mine mounted on an instrument bar behind the screen. Quality is excellent and set to dash cam mode it starts and

stops automatically.

I bought it 2nd hand here on the forum. But have seen them online if you do a search. Just adds a bit of flexibility for fitting stuff.

My Givi Airflow screen has a copper tube across the screen bracket tops. The ends are blank capped with pre-soldered fittings and its held with P clips. Cost £2 for the end caps with a bit of left over tube from a plumbing job and a blast of silver paint.

Touratech make a bracket that sits between screen and front mounting to stop the screen rattling. It's silly money and far too fiddly (as their stuff usually is) but a bracket could easily be made to carry a Ram ball and grommets or rubber pads to stop the screen wobbling.
