Hi

I did ask before, but got no luck, but will try again!! Want to mount my GoPro on my Schubert C3....

Possible? Anyone done it? If so, standard mounting stuff delivered by GoPro or any adaptations required?

Appreciate any advice, Italy is coming so have to decide to take the C3 or my Arai Tour....

Cheers

I'm back ... that was quick :thumb

Hope this helps ...

In reality the camera, on the helmet, doesn't look as big and cumbersome as the photo might lead you to believe. Photo taken in Macro!

Hi Micky
Is the camera mounting ther glued on in some way or is there fastners ?

Micky,
does that not catch the wind like a tea clipper sailing ship?!
Serious question, as i'd like to helmet mount my next vid cam* on my Open Face lid - even the little Oregon 2K i have makes an excellent air brake.

*Santa has been informed. :D

That looks like one of the adhesive pads that comes in the kit. I mounted the camera to the top of one of my helmets with the pad, and it stayed on at over 100mph.:thumb I was a bit worried the first time I tried it though, but it was fine. It was a bitch of a job to get the pad off the helmet when I sold the helmet though, so once it's on, it ain't going anywhere. Just make sure you clean the helmet properly before you stick the pad on.:rob

It's the normal sticky pad supplied with the fittings .... very strong :thumb

Just a quick question. I bought the C3 because Schuberth seem to be the only ones who make any effort to sound proof their helmets. I have a lot of noise from the 1200 GSA screen, even with a Touratech screen extender and will fit a different screen shortly.

I would have thought that sticking something like a GoPro Hero onto the helmet would really mess up the aerodynamic properties of the helmet and create extreme wind turbulence/noise. Is this not an issue with this type of mounting?
